IEA Project Schedule
The consultant team headed by Conestoga-Rovers & Associates has been contracted by the Region to support the Region in completing this IEA. The timeline, including approval by the Minister of the Environment (the Minister), is expected to be 4 to 5 years. Barring any unexpected challenges along the way, construction could begin in 2015 or 2016, which allows time for completion of the design, acquiring all permits, any property purchases necessary, creating contract documents, and tendering the preferred approved alternative.
The high level schedule below provides dates against specific milestones for the IEA.
