Notice of Commencement of Environmental Assessment
The Regional Municipality of York has now initiated the Upper York Sewage Solutions (UYSS) Environmental Assessment (EA) under the Environmental Assessment Act.  This full/ individual EA will be carried out according to the Terms of Reference, which was approved by the Minister of the Environment on March 11, 2010

Proposed Terms of Reference
The Proposed Terms of Reference (ToR) for the Upper York Sewage Solutions Individual Environmental Assessment was submitted to the Ministry of the Environment for review and approval.  This document was available on this website for download on November 20.  Comments on this document will be accepted until December 21, 2009.

Community Liaison Forum
Currently we have not met our mandate of a locally representative participant membership.  Therefore, the membership and establishment of the Community Liaison Forum will be revisited as part of initiating the Environmental Assessment phase of the Upper York Sewage Solutions project following approval of the Terms of Reference.  We will continue to actively reach out and engage residents, businesses and local community groups.  Your interest is appreciated and we will reconnect with you in the early part of 2010.
